A real challenge

About a year ago, we were invited to submit a proposal for an exhaust silencer for a newly designed diesel locomotive in an Asian country.

In close collaboration with a well-known European engineering firm and engine supplier, we tackled a wide range of technical challenges. The result is a final product that not only meets all quality standards incl. EN-15085, but also fits within the extremely limited available space — all while meeting the customer's strict requirements for both noise reduction and maximum backpressure.

The first two prototype silencers are now complete and, aside from final packaging, ready for shipment.

Several dozen additional units are scheduled for later this year.
